Choc/Caramel Chia Pudding with Banana

Happy Tuesday friends 🙂 Thought I would cheer you up with a sweet, tasty, satisfying chia pudding. Its full of good stuff (and some naughty stuff too – heyyyyyy its Winter!!).

This recipe is simple to make and delicious. Hope you enjoy it and have also been enjoying some of my other recipes!

STEP 1 – Gather all of your ingredients. For this I used chia seeds, almond milk, 6 organic dates, crushed peanuts, maple syrup, cacao powder, vanilla essence, banana, caramel and some Cottee’s chocolate sauce.

STEP 2 – Soak your chia seeds (I used approx. 100g) in a bowl of almond milk and add 6 dates. Soak overnight in the fridge. The mixture will become thick and gel like. This is normal. Add mixture along with 2 tablespoons of cacao powder, 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup and some chocolate sauce (as much as you like depending on your sweet tooth) to a blender and blend until mixed and smooth.

STEP 3 – Using a glass jar add half a banana chopped up, then some chia mixture, some caramel, peanuts and then continue. Eat right away or place in the fridge to eat later. HEAVEN!

Depending on how you like your chocolate please feel free to add some stevia or agave nectar for extra sweetness!

I Hope you enjoy this delicious dessert and until next time eat well, smile and be kind to animals 🙂

  1. Yum! I love chia puddings and all their variations, unfortunately my family don’t really go for them (but that’s not really a problem when it comes to eating their share 😉 )

Thanks for sharing. Choc banana: great all year round. I’ve given up coffee. Need a new vice. Something like this could be just the thing!
